Chasing AirGraver® with Fossilized Walrus Ivory handle
This handpiece is for ultra fine to medium engraving. The tool was
developed from the original Chasing AirGraver® but has been redesigned in
several areas. The tool features the power band adjustment
ring for setting speed and length of impact stroke.
It can be set to just a few thousands of an inch for very fast gentle impacts
and also be set to a stroke length of 3/8" for slower, harder impacting or anywhere in between. The tool includes automatic tuning
throughout the speed ranges giving more power range plus making it
quieter. Another area which has been
redesigned is in the principle balance of the piston's return and impact
oscillation stroke. Balancing the pneumatic strength between the return and
impact oscillation helps the tool oscillate and idle extremely delicately.
This is pertinent for engravers who work under a microscope, cutting fine shading, banknote or postage stamp type engraving. The Chasing
AirGraver is smallest and lightest in weight power graver and yet
will deliver controllable power by the length of stroke
adjustment.
The Chasing AirGraver® also
features the Rapid Graver Change, three position tubing attachment and Lindsay hand engraved logo and product name on
the fine finish stainless body. Also included are
three High Speed Steel 3/32" square graver blanks. Operating air pressure range: .05 to
40 PSI.
One patent pending
pre-sharpened Carbalt™ graver
point is included with each customer's first purchase of an AirGraver
