If you don't mind the noise a small
and inexpensive air compressor that can be used with the AirGraver is the
Campbell Hausfeld model FP2003. It is sold through Wal-Mart and Harbor Frieght
for $99. It will keep up with the AirGraver, kicking on about every 5-7 minutes
while engraving. It is a noisy compressor however.

Generally any compressor with a tank
will work with the AirGraver, although a compressor smaller than this Campbell
Hausfeld Model FP2003 is not recommend. You may want to go with a larger one if
you plan to use the compressor for other things besides the AirGraver. A
compressor with a larger tank will not have to charge/fill up as often during
use, therefore it should last longer. Harbor Freight carries larger
compressor:

The main compressor Steve Lindsay
uses is a larger upright compressor (240V). It will fill the large tank in
10-15 minutes and from this one fill it will last two or three days before it
runs out of enough air to operate the AirGraver. This large of compressor is
not necessary for the AirGraver but it is nice if needed for operating larger
tools around the work place.
For quiet compressors, no
louder than a refrigerator or a small fan the
Silentaire compressors shown below are first class in compressors.
